The Arisal was invented and developed by Shirley, born and raised in Metula, who was working throughout the years in arts and theaters. Nowadays Shirley focuses on giving quality time to children and adults using the Arisal and the orthopedic all-ages sitting hammock, which she also makes in her studio in Metula.

Shirley, a fascinating person with a rare joy for creation, has a fascinating life-story, including a membership in the artists group that created Sheva music band and performing in different theaters throughout Israel. When the first design of the Arisal has came to her in a dream she realized that's her place to contribute to calm and normal development of children around the world and she decided focusing on marketing the Arisal all over the globe. Shirley won’t replace the silence of Metula, her birthplace, with anywhere in the world. Metula, she says, is THE place to live and create.

The orthopedic sitting hammock and the Arisal you can find at four different big-scaled fairs and at Shirley's only. They do not sale in shops during the everyday life so the company can keep on taking care of the quality of the details but they can be purchased by phone or in the internet. Shirley's store is located behind a renovated house in an alley that will become an active artist's alley in the near future. The store is close on Saturdays so you better early your visit to Friday.

The Arisal and the special hammock are wonderful gifts to you or to your friends and Shirley add that anyone who sits in one of her hammock doesn’t want to come out. Within the shop you'll also find many artificial objects, judaica, mezuzah, mandalahs and more.
