How to prepare a cool passion fruit potion?
Like every potion you start with the large experience ingredient of farmer Gideon Adar from the Kibbutz, you add the accidental ingredient of professor Bluemenfeld from the Vulcan Institute, blend it with the knowledge ingredient of wine-maker Dr Arkadi Pepikian and of course sprinkle a bit from the luck ingredient of the Kibbutz's teens that mixed passion-fruit with alcohol.
And now for the full legend:
Gideon Adar from Kibbutz Ga'aton had finished his military service, built a home and for many years was raising banana and avocado plantations. One day he was summoned by researcher professor Amos Bluemenfeld, who invited few old farmers from all over the country and introduced them with different species of exotic fruits. He recommended them to try and grow the passion-dream passion-fruit. Gideon decided to dare and planted the fruit. The passion-fruit grew well and was well marketing, but he couldn’t put the leftovers in the freezer and it was a pity to throw it to the garbage…
Then came luck and some of the fruits found its way to the Kibbutz's teens that mixed its inside with alcohol and told Gideon about the successful beverage. Gideon realized there's something in it. After few independent trials in his own kitchen he decided to combine forces with the well known wine-maker and expert Dr Arkadi Pepikian.
Nowadays Ga'aton Potions makes fruit wine from variety of fruits such as kiwi, passion-fruit, pomegranate, almond, cherry and more with variety of bottles and gift packs small and large, all special and beautiful.
If calling in advance it is also possible to create your very own beverage in Gideon's workshop, where you can taste the different fruits and mix yourself your personal drink. The workshop is short and essential and is built to up to two couples.
Another important issue is that every wine is a fruit wine. The most common fruit is happened to be grape but all wines produced by Ga'aton Potions are wines in every way with 14-17% alcohol and are not liquors whatsoever.
