In 2008, Zuri Machloff decided to fulfill a dream and establish a small family winery. He recruited his small family and together they planted, in the yard of their home in the settlement of Klil in the Western Galilee, a small vineyard measuring only one dunam. In 2009, the dream grew and Zuri’s father, Yaakov, “got hooked” on the idea and together the two planted another 15 dunams of grapes in the Gezer Regional Council area, in Moshav Yitzitz.

The vineyards are planted in amazing clay-lime soil on a southern slope, grown almost like "Baal" crops (field crops) – with minimal irrigation based almost exclusively on natural precipitation, all out of an understanding and desire to grow grapes in perfect harmony with the soil, weather, and rainfall that nature has to offer that year.

The vineyard is cultivated and fertilized with organic materials only and to the minimum required.
Tall grass grows between the vines and the soil is tilled only along the rows as the vineyard experiences spring in full around it and grows next to other wildflowers such as anemones, chrysanthemums, sticky toadstools and wild mint. We harvest the grapes in extremely small quantities, only about 800 kg per dunam, a technique that gives the grapes the ability to reach maximum extraction of color and minerals within each grape, which helps produce wine in small, high-quality quantities.

What you will find at our winery:
Our winery offers a selection of red wines from the following varieties: Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec.
The hospitality at the winery is in a very family-like, authentic and special atmosphere in the winery yard, which is the family yard,
and includes wine tasting workshops, interesting stories and a good atmosphere.
