About the winery:
3 Vines Winery was founded in 2003 in the village of Ramot Naftali in the Upper Galilee and its vineyards are planted in the nearby Kadesh Valley – a beautiful valley of thousands of planted dunams, most of them wine vineyards.
The grapes, which are pressed into about 3000 bottles, reach the small winery located in a separate building in the yard of the estate. The current winery building is actually a small part of the future winery expected to be built in the near future. The wines: in the first vintage of the winery in 2003. Until 2005 only varietal wines were produced: K.S. And Merlo. The following vintages were wines from Mimsach (blends), initially, K.S. Merlot and Syrah and then also Petit Verdot and KPF were added. In 2010 the first Barbara was fermented and in 2011 the Malbec, Syrah and of course Hoyunieh were added.
About the winemaker: As a vintner and winemaker, I have the opportunity to influence the character of the wines I produce. I try to produce wines with a medium body that are not high in alcohol and as a result they are good to accompany a good meal and to drink on different occasions. My approach is that the characterization of the wine should be left to the personal impressions of the taster, for better or for worse, and he should not be guided as to what he should feel.
