The Kibbutz’s pool is open from Shavuot until the end of August. In September, the pool is open on weekends only. Subject to change, it is recommended to make sure at the reservations center of the days and hours when the poll is open.

In Malkiya, even in August it can get cool. It’s recommended to bring long clothes.

Get ready to fall in love with Malkiya Travel Hotel. From a height of 700 meters above sea level, Kibbutz Malkiya overlooks a breathtaking view of the Kadesh Valley, the Golan Heights and Mt. Hermon. But it’s actually even more recommended to see this vista from the lookout at the end of the trail that runs through the apple orchards, where you can walk with ease, and then rest at the end of the path, under an ancient oak tree.

Here, you will enjoy country-style hospitality, and a warm and pleasurable family atmosphere that will cut you off from your routine: manicured lawns, beautiful plants, swings, barbecue pits, and sitting areas. Just as you guessed, this is the perfect place for a family vacation with pet dogs. Its location on the Naftali Mountains ridge ensures clear, cool and pleasant air, even in the middle of the summer.

The hotel has 22 studio rooms and 10 vacation apartments, including 2 large vacation apartments of 50 square meters each, and 2 vacation apartments that are appropriate for those with disabilities. The rooms are well-appointed with everything you will need for your vacation and are comfortably designed in a relaxing way that puts you at ease and blends in with the green surroundings that await you outside.

In the upgraded dining room, a luxurious buffet breakfast awaits you, and when it is cold out, you can warm up in front of a roaring fire. In other words, this is exactly the place to start your morning with good vibes.

Attractions

During the holidays and in August, there are lantern tours that leave from the hotel and pass by special points of interest in the Kibbutz, such as the children's houses, the dining room, and the Kibbutz launderette. The tour ends at the Malkiya observation point, where the stars and constellations are pointed out, and you can enjoy a sing-along with marshmallows and baked potatoes at a bonfire. The Malkiya Travel Hotel is excellent for hiking aficionados and is close to the beautiful hiking trails and leading attractions of the North. From here, you can easily get to the Hula nature reserve and to Tzfat, the Rosh Pina agricultural colony, the Dishon stream, the Biriya forest, the Manara cliffs, the Baram forest, and more. Metulla is about a 25-minute drive away, and Mt. Hermon is about 40 minutes away. Winter, spring, summer or fall – all seasons of the year provide exciting experiences in the area, like skiing on the snow-covered mountain in cold weather, or a refreshingly wading in the streams in hot weather.
