Canceling a Reservation / Transaction according to the Consumer Protection Law, 5741- 1981

The Travel Hotels Chain operates in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 (and the regulations by virtue thereof), with regard to the cancellation of a remote sales transaction for services and products that have been ordered – such as booking a vacation at the chain’s hotels or ordering products (such as coupons or branded products). It will not be possible to cancel a transaction where the law does not grant such a right, except at the sole discretion of the chain and according to the circumstances of the case.

You may return any product you purchased from the website by sending a cancellation notice to the Travel Hotels Chain, up to 14 days from the day you received from us the document that includes the details of the transaction (order confirmation), or from the day you received the product, whichever is later, and receive a refund as set forth hereafter and according to law.

You are entitled tocancel services that you ordered through remote marketing, by sending a cancellation notice tothe travel hotels chain. You may cancel the ordered service within 14 days from the date of the order or from the date of receipt of the document that includes the details of the transaction (confirmation of the order), whichever is later, provided that such cancellation shall be made at least two days, which are not days of rest, prior to the time when the service is to be provided – and receive a  financial refund as set forth hereafter and according to law. In regards to everything concerning theaccommodations, travel, leisure or entertainment services, the cancellation right will exist only provided thatthe date of cancellation of the transaction is not within seven days that are not days of rest, before the time when the service is supposed to be provided;

In the event that you received the product you ordered, you must return the product to us at one of the chain’s hotels, at your own expense, or alternatively, ask the Travel Hotels Chain to send a courier on your behalf to collect the product and return it at your expense (we may refuse this request). Coupons that you have purchased and canceled do not need to be returned, but rather erase the relevant coupon. Naturally, a coupon cannot be canceled once it has been redeemed in full or in part.

If the cancellation of the order is not due to a defect in the service/product, or due to a discrepancy between the service/product and the details that the Travel Hotels Chain gave you about them, or due to the non-delivery of the service/product at the time agreed between you and the Travel Hotels Chain – the Travel Hotels Chain will give you a refund, within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice, of the part of the transaction price you paid, it will cancel the charge due to the transaction and give you a copy of the charge cancellation notice. In such a case, the Travel Hotels Chain may charge you a cancellation fee of 5% of the price, or NIS 100, whichever is lower.

If the cancellation of the order is due to a defect in the service/product, or due to a discrepancy between the service/product and the details that the Travel Hotels Chain gave you about them, or due to the non-delivery of the service/product at the time agreed between you and the Travel Hotels Chain – the chain will give you a refund, within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice, of the part of the transaction price you paid, it will cancel the charge due to the transaction and give you a copy of the charge cancellation notice. When canceling a transaction for these reasons, the travel hotels chain will not charge you a cancellation fee.

If you are a disabled person, a senior citizen, or a new immigrant, you may cancel the transaction within four months from the date the transaction was made, or from the day you received the document from the Travel Hotels Chain that includes the details of the transaction (confirmation of the reservation), whichever is later, provided that the entering into the transaction involved a conversation between you and the chain, including a conversation through electronic communication. In such a case, the Travel Hotels Chain may require you to present (or send a copy of) a certificate proving that you are a disabled person, a senior citizen or a new immigrant as mentioned.

The provisions of this policy do not derogate from any right of cancellation or other right available to consumers in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law or the provisions of any law. No credit or refund will be given for services or products for which monetary consideration has not been paid.

Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law and its regulations, you may notify the travel hotels chain of the cancellation of a transaction in any of the following ways:

  • Orally (by telephone: 04-6883040), or by oral notice at the chain hotels (the address of each hotel is set forth on the website);
  • By registered mail (to the reservation center of the Travel Hotels Chain – 22 Markoni St., Haifa 3295536);

In the cancellation notice, the guest will specify his name and identity number, and, if a cancellation notice was given orally, will also include an additional form of identification.

Cancellation policy for orders on the dates: 1.1.23-31.12.25

In case of a cancellation or change of the transaction at a later date than the date on which the transaction can be canceled according to law, the credit card will be charged the amount of the first night for each room booked. If the transaction is canceled two days or less before arriving at the hotel, or in the case of not arriving at the hotel at all, the credit card will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
