In the heart of the Hula Valley and adjacent to the well-known and beloved Hula Reserve, lies a fascinating and especially sweet visitor center hidden away – Hakol Dvash!
Hakol Dvash in Hebrew means everything is sweet as honey.
At the visitor center, you will enjoy an experiential tour of the “Hakol Dvash” apiary located at the base of the mountain. During the tour, we will be exposed to the work of the beekeeper and the intriguing work of the bee.
We will understand the connection between nectar, honey, the process of pollinating flowers, and the connection to the fruits and vegetables we eat.
The process will be illustrated in a film that will be projected on a large screen. After watching the film, we will take a tour of the apiary where we will receive explanations about the honey extraction system, and we will also observe the process (during the extraction season) up to the stage where the honey is packaged in jars.
The tour is authentic and during it we will go through all the equipment and work of the beekeeper. We will also view a transparent hive that illustrates the process of producing honey in the hives.
For a sweet ending, we will taste several types of honey that our bees produce.
Honey and its products can be purchased from the visitor center shop at the end of the tour.
